Objective

Welcome to the first part of this course, also called "Introduction to R".
Indeed a second part of this course will be delivered in due time by Marilaure Gregoire (and information will follow via Ecampus).
In this first part, you will learn the basics of the statistical language R, and among other things, how to use R to
  • produce informative graphs
  • find interesting correlation in your data
  • test if two samples are statistically significantly similar (or not)
There is nothing to install since the program is installed on our RStudio server and is directly accessible via any web navigator.
Note that the online material is also available in French.

You need a password in order to access the online materials (course - videos - exercises). The password can always been found on the Ecampus (my.uliege) forum for this class or contact the Assistant (cf planning below).

Exemption

If you have already followed STAT0077 then, of course, you can ask to be exempted of this first part by sending an email to the Professor with information regarding your grading (and year of attendance) at that course.

Exams - Interros - Homeworks

  • Typically, there is a written exam that take place in the university using our Rstudio server.
  • To prepare you for the exam, there are projects and online interros that are organized along the course.
