The Bioinformatics and Systems Biology (BioSys) Lab is the research group launched by Prof. Patrick E. Meyer at the Life Science Department and in the Integrative Biological Systems (INBIOS) Research Unit of the Université de Liège (Belgium).
The lab develops computational and statistical tools in order to uncover large-scale circuitry of biological cells from genomics data in order to identify genetic triggers in an organism of interest. This is done by using artificial intelligence to infer networks of genes, proteins and metabolites out of binding motifs, protein interactions and Next Gen Sequencing (NGS) data. |
